Liu Xiang claims diamond league title in Eugene with world record

Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang equalled the world record to claim title in the men's 110m hurdles event in 12.87 seconds at the 2012 IAAF Diamond League in Eugene, United States here on Saturday.

Cuban hurdler Dayron Robles set the world record of 12.87 seconds in Ostrava on June 12, 2008. The former world record of 12.88 seconds was set by Liu in Lausanne on July 11, 2006.
